When I was young I took a two-year trip around the world with no money because I thought it was the minimum for a good education. When you travel like that you are not in front of the world, you are in front of yourself. Two years in front of yourself is a great education. I never backpacked though. I’ve always loved elegance, even then, even when I had no money.
